Home Based Services (HBS)

This program is designed to offer an array of non-residential support services such as respite, therapy services, day training programs, transportation, and nursing services through the coordination by the Epilepsy Foundation of Southwest Wisconsin's HBS team leader. The program currently serves seven individuals in the community who live at home with families. An array of services is chosen by the individual with epilepsy and/or other disabilities.

The Epilepsy Foundation of Southwest Wisconsin serves as the financial liaison for purchasing these services. The Epilepsy Foundation of Southwest Wisconsin coordinates those services with the individual and the other providers.

This program is also seen as an alternative to traditional residential placement.
