Volunteer Jobs

We invite you to take an active role in promoting Epilepsy Awareness. Many of our activities, events and programs would not be possible without the assistance of volunteers like you.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Volunteer Coordinator
Coordinates the efforts of all volunteers, should commit for a minimum of 6 months

 

Camp Candlelight Staff:  Counselor, Counselor in Training, Activities Staff               

 

Speaker’s Bureau or HOPE Mentor

 

Epilepsy Sponsor (Telephone Mentor)

Health Fair Booth Representative

Committee Head for outreach or other program

Support Group Leader
Please plan on committing 5 hours per month for a minimum of 6 months

 

Support Group Leader Coordinator
Please plan on committing 10 hours per month for a minimum of 1 year

 

Train-the-Trainer Trainer
Trains School Nurses, Law Enforcement Officers, and First Responders to then train         others on epilepsy recognition, first aid and treatment

 

Operation Outreach Mentor
Volunteer Mentors to help shepherd returning members of the active military with Traumatic Brain Injuries and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder through the debriefing and benefit enrollment process, mentoring, and advocating for these veterans to get the help and treatment they need

Kids on the Block Puppeteer - Training provided

Talk About It @ Dinner Host - Host Materials will be provided

 

Annual Walk Sponsor or Team Captain

 

Mardi Gras Committee Member or Table Sponsor
Committee members are asked to commit to fundraising via table sales in addition to other committee delegated responsibilities

 

Golf Tournament Committee Member or Sponsor
Committee members are asked to commit to fundraising via sponsor sales in addition to other committee delegated responsibilities

 

Donation of Printed Goods
Volunteers should be willing to contact printing companies to solicit an in-kind donation of printed goods such as the quarterly newsletter, direct mail pieces, special event materials and fundraising flames

 

Board of Directors Member
Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona staff members cannot approve membership of Board        of Directors, but will pass along resumes and other pertinent materials

 

Fundraising
Volunteers who are willing to contact my employer or employee community fund regarding a donation to the Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona

 

Paper Sales Volunteer
Volunteers to help sign up retail locations to sell the flames and find underwriters for the program
