Biography of Patricia Osborne Shafer, R.N., M.N.

Patricia Osborne Shafer, R.N., M.N., is an epilepsy nurse specialist at the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Ms. Shafer is the chair of the Epilepsy Foundation's Professional Advisory Board and is a member of the Board of Directors. For almost a decade she has served on various committees and worked on such issues as professional education, women and epilepsy, seizure first aid, and genetic research.
