So Long Summer, Hello 6th Grade.
By Hannah Ceniseros
I can't believe my summer is almost over!
I had a great time at Camp Spike 'n Wave! I spent time with old friends and made new ones. I did the ropes course (even parts I couldn't do last year.) Superheroes was the camp theme and that was really fun. I was a reporter for the Daily Planet at camp.
This summer I got to hang out with my best friend and her new dog, which is always awesome!
It was the best Harry Potter summer ever. Harry and the Potters--the band--went on tour and I saw them twice and bought new T-shirts. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix movie came out. And finally the very last Harry Potter book came out. I wish there would be more books because I like them so much.

I am a little mad that I didn't get to do everything I wanted to do, like go to the beach, but there is always next summer!
And now I'm saying hello to a whole new school. Am I ready for middle school? I have a lot of emotions going on in my head. I'm sad to see the summer go. I'm excited to see all my friends again. I'm nervous about meeting new kids and new teachers. I hope seizures stay away so I can do my best! I am most excited about art class and choir. I love to draw and I love to sing.
I went to orientation on Saturday and practiced opening and closing my locker. I got a locker on the bottom. I hope no one drops their books on my head and I hope I remember the combination.
I've watched a whole lot of the show Ned's Declassified Survival Guide for Middle School. At the end of each episode Ned always says, "Your results may vary."
I hope my results for this year at middle school will turn out great!
