Forecasting Seizures

The article "Forecasting Seizures" in the September/October 2007 issue stated that the trial allowing NeuroPace to enroll 220 people is closed. The feasibility trial ended over a year ago and is closed, but the current pivotal trial is still open for enrollment.

The Responsive Neurostimulator System (RNS) Pivotal Clinical Investigation aims to assess the safety and effectiveness of RNS as an add-on therapy for reducing the frequency of seizures. Participants range from 18 to 70 years of age and experience partial onset seizures that are refractory to two or more epileptic medications.
