Treasurer's Report![]() Jeffrey D. Glidden, Treasurer, I am pleased to report that in fiscal year 2005, the Epilepsy Foundation maintained its high level of achievement and progress. Fundraising successes in the areas of corporate gifts, foundation gifts, and direct response programs helped make the year a positive one for the Foundation and its constituents by allowing us to expand advocacy, program and research activities. In addition, grant revenues grew to an all time high with the addition of funding from the Health Resource Services Administration for programs aimed at improving access to care for children and youth with epilepsy. The pie chart below shows just how the Epilepsy Foundation prudently administered the more than $16.8 million spent in 2005. I would also like to direct your attention to the financial statements reflecting the Epilepsy Foundation’s national and affiliate operations for fiscal year 2004. Our combined operations had revenues of $80 million, with almost $59 million – 83 percent – spent on program services, a substantial portion of which consisted of direct services to patients and their families at the local level.
Epilepsy Foundation National Office 2005 Expenditures Thank you to everyone who helped make this another great year for the Epilepsy Foundation. Your hard work, commitment and financial contributions truly make a difference, and I hope we may continue to count on your support in the years ahead.
